In the Gundam anime series, very large Tank s of comparable size and complexity to naval warships are called Land Battleships. Land Battleship s are a staple of Gundam, they have appeared in nearly every Gundam series to date (with notable absences in Gundam Wing and G Gundam ). A land battleship typically has many crew members and carries large-caliber naval Gun s (for example, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed 's Lesseps Class Land Battleship includes three dual 16-inch gun turrets). These vehicles also exist in the tabletop wargame Heavy Gear under the term 'Landship'. List of land battleship classes
