HIGH SCHOOL YEARS At Los Banos High School in Los Banos, California , Lance Mitchell was a three-year starter and an All-State selection at both linebacker and tailback. As a high school senior, playing runningback, he averaged 9.6 yards per carry, rushed for more than 3,000 yards, and scored 36 touchdowns. JUNIOR COLLEGE YEARS Mitchell attended San Francisco City College for two years. As a sophomore, he wgarnered All-American honors and posted five sacks, one interception, and 80 tackles. |
