Time Line

The Lancashire Combination was a Football (soccer) League set up in the North West Of England in 1891 -92.

The Lancashire League became the Lancashire Combination in 1901 .

1939 -40 the Second World war broke out and after only three games in the Lancashire Combination League, in September, the league was suspended. Morecambe FC

In 1968 the Lancashire Combination lost many of its clubs to the newly-formed Northern Premier League .

The North West Counties Football League was formed in 1982 by the merger of the Cheshire County League and the ''Lancashire Combination''.
