Information About

Lampang

Lampang is the last paradise of Thailand. It is located to the southeast of Chiang Mai . Completely untouched by the land transport advancement of Bangkok , it is here that tourists can find horse-drawn Carriage s used in Southeast Asia , making the landscape an ideal periodic drama setting and a potential Thailand's Hollywood. The horse-drawn carriage, introduced from Portugal via Macau , is the tourist symbol of Lampang and this symbol is ubiquitous on all products made in Lampang. For example, Khao Tan , a local Thai snack made from ingredients like Sugarcane , the main produce of Lampang, palm oil, melon juice, sesame and salt, uses the Lampang Brand, the horse-drawn carriage. In the backdrop is the Lanna wat of Lampang.
