Meissa is a Spectral Type O star and is part of the Collinder 69 star cluster. It has Magnitude 3.4. The traditional names are from Arabic ''maisan'' "sparkling" and ''haq’ah'' "white spot". Meissa is actually a binary star system. The fainter star is of magnitude 12 and is 4.4 seconds of arc away from the brighter. |
