Kyle Chapman (born . {Link without Title} Chapman was born in Taumarunui , New Zealand . He has said that he wanted to join the National Front from the age of 14, and associated with Skinhead gangs during the 1980 s, most notably the Hammerskins . He is a qualified Social Worker , and worked in Christchurch from 1993-97, with funding from the Christchurch city council and the city's crime prevention unit, dealing with youth involved in street subculture. He also served as the youth worker representative on the Saffer Community Council in Christchurch from 1996-97. This community work came to a swift halt when it was discovered that he was actually recruiting the youth for skinhead gangs. In 1995 , he confessed to a series of racially-motivated arson attacks between 1987 and 1992 , including the firebombing of a Marae . EXTERNAL LINK
