OTHER INFO Kings Beach is a great place to visit. The casinos on the North Shore are not that spectacular, but the general area is optimal for outdoor sports year-round. Lodging is cheap, and the people are friendly. There is a great family-run Bakery, and a passable Italian restaurant. The Golf course is challenging, although only 9 holes. The whole town is nicely sloped toward the water, and if you are there in the winter, late at night, the best activity is sledding down the streets after a good snowfall. If you are there in the summer, get a slurpee from 7-11 before walking the beach. EXTERNAL LINKS |
