Information AboutKettle Whistle (album) |
''Kettle Whistle'' is a compilation of Jane's Addiction recordings ranging from before their first album to recordings by the "Relapse" line-up of 1997. It was released on November 4 , 1997 . In 1997, when Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Dave Navarro and Flea got together to form the ''Jane's Addiction Relapse'', Warner Brothers delivered this compilation of new, old and live Jane's Addiction material. This single disc created official releases for nearly all of the unreleased Jane's Addiction songs, many of which were touched up or re-recorded by the band in 1997. Unfortunately, the live tracks included on this disc are not particularly rare, which disappointed many fans. Toward the end of the liner tracks, there is a listing of interesting bits of information about each track and what makes them unique and special.
