The forest is divided into a two large and three small units. The Northern Unit extends from just outside Glenbeulah southwest to outside of Kewaskum . The Southern Unit extends from outside Ottawa southeast to outside of Whitewater . Pike Lake Unit is located between Hartford and Slinger . Lapham Peak Unite is just south of Delafield .
