Kent-Meridian High School opened in 1951 as part of the Kent, Washington School District, #415. It was formed from the original Kent High School, which building then became Kent Junior High. Famous KHS/KMHS students include:
1959 graduate Jack Halbrook Elder. First Graduate of KM to participate in the Olympic Games. Represented USA in the sport of Luge at the Sapporo Olympic games in 1972. |
