The Kansas City Spurs (1968-1970) are a Soccer team who played in the original North American Soccer League , based in Kansas City, Missouri . They played their home games at Kansas City Municipal Stadium , home of the Kansas City Chiefs . They were NASL champions in 1969. In 2005 the Spurs were reborn in the National Alliance Soccer League (NASL), buoyed by a TV contract with the TVS Television Network. |
