''Jurassic Park'' is the title of a several Video Game s and a Computer Game s that released based on the popular film of the same name.


Sega CD

In the Sega CD version of the game the player moved around the famous Island through a first persepctive in an effort to solve some puzzels, fight some dinosaurs and get enough eggs safey stored away before the Island is invaded by a paramilitary organization. The game was one of the first Sega CD games to use the ''cinepark'' technology that was suppose to allow programmers to display more on-screen colors in a Sega CD game then the normal 64. The game was also noted for the fact that real life expert on dinsosaurs Robert T. Bakker gave several interviews about dinosaurs that were placed throughout the game's Island in the form of full motion video clips.


Sega Mega Drive/Genesis

The Mega Drive/Genesis edition of the game was a side-scrolling shooter/platformer, where you would be allowed to play as Alan Grant or the dangerous Velociraptor , as both fought their way through the island and eventually escaped. It was developed by Blue Sky Software .


Super Nintendo

The Super Nintendo edition of the game was an adventure game, where you play as Alan Grant tasked with completing many objectives; such as restoring electricity to the Park, Rebooting the security systems, finding and stopping the Velociraptors from entering the Visitor Center, and escaping the Island via helicopter. While normally played from a Top-down Perspective , upon entering a building the game would switch to a DooM -style First Person Shooter view. The game was very long, but completely lacked any sort of save feature whatsoever. It was developed by Ocean Software .



Personal Computer

The PC version of Jurassic Park was similar to the Super Nintendo edition, putting you in the shoes of Alan Grant in a top-down adventure game.
