Junior Lessard

Junior Lessard (Born May 29 , 1980 in St. Joseph De Beauce , Quebec , Canada ) is a professional Ice Hockey player for the Dallas Stars orginization of the National Hockey League .

Junior Lessard led the NCAA in goals and points during the 2003-04 season with 32 goals and 63 points. He also led the WCHA in the same catagories with 19 goals and 39 points in conference play.

Lessard is currently playing for the Iowa Stars of the AHL , a minor league affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the NHL .

Winner of the 2004 Hobey Baker Award with the University Of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.

1st team All American in 2004.

National Player of the Year honors in 2004 by Uscho.com and Insidecollegehockey.com .
