Ahdout was born in Santa Monica, California to Iranian Jew ish parents, Yahya Ahdout and Jacqueline Hayempour; and now resides in Brentwood with his parents and siblings, Melody (born in Iran) and Daniel (born in California ). He has attended Sinai Akiba Academy and Harvard-Westlake School . Ahdout played Esmail Behrani in the film '' House Of Sand And Fog '', and Behrooz Araz in the television series '' 24 ''. Coincidentally, he portrayed the son of a character played by Shohreh Aghdashloo in both roles.
