Information AboutJet 14 |
|
Based on the hull of the International 14 (I-14), a former Olympic class boat, the Jet is a plum-bow two-person sloop-rigged sailboat. Capable of planning, this sailboat provides moderate performance for a dinghy that lacks high-performance features such as trapeeze harnesses for its helmsman or crew. The Jet 14 was developed by Howard Siddons in 1955. To date, roughly 1,200 boats have been built. The current builder is Jibe-Tech, a builder from Ohio. The homepage for the class is available here: http://www.sailingsource.com/jet14/index.html |
