On 5 October 2005 she opened a concert at the Capital Center in North Bay, Ontario , which featured country music singer John Berry . John had his work cut out for him following Ivory, who captivated the crowd and got a standing ovation. The previous year Ivory was the opening act for the Grand Opening of the Shenia Twain Center in Timmons, Ontario . She was well received and made quite an impression there as well. Ivory has competed in the Country Music Open Singing Contest at the North Bay Heritage Festival for the past several years, and finished second & third respectively, in the last two years, in the eighteen and under category. |
