Irish Car Bomb

Irish Car Bomb is a song from the band Hot Rod Circuit on their album "If It's Cool With You It's Cool With Me".

Irish Carbomb (also known as Belfast Carbomb or just Carbomb) is a Cocktail made with Beer ( Guinness ), Irish Cream ( Baileys Irish Cream ) and Irish Whiskey . The irish cream and irish whiskey are added to the beer in quick succession, at which point they start to curdle. The process is not instantaneous, so fast drinkers will enjoy the cocktail, while a slow drinker will be faced with a glass of curdled beer, the taste of which progressively gets worse with every passing second.

The proper method for mixing a successful carbomb is 1 shot Irish whiskey (Jameson, Tullamore Dew, etc.), followed by 1 can or bottle of Irish beer (Guinness, Murphy's, etc.), with a shot of Irish cream being dropped in the concotion immediately before swiftly downing the entire drink. One should note that Irish carbombs are quite filling and should probably be consumed first to avoid sickness.

A variation to the drink is the "Irish Truck Bomb" same idea, just larger. A pitcher of Guinness, and anywhere between 8-16 Oz of Wiskey and Bailey's mix. Drop Baileys and Whiskey into pitcher, and try to drain it as fast as possible.

The Truck Bomb is most often shared between friends, as it is incredibly filling. The Town Tavern in New York , proudly advertise it on their bar mirror.

Either the Car Bomb or the Truck Bomb should be drunk as fast as possible. The combination of Irish Cream and Beer causes the beer to curdle and the drink becomes undrinkable.
