An integrated chip card (ICC), is defined as any integrated circuitry embedded into a flat, plastic body. Although there are diverse ranges of applications, there are two broad categories of ICCs 1. Memory Cards contain only non-volatile memory storage components, and perhaps some specific security logic. 2. Microprocessor cards contain memory and microprocessor components. |
