Ian Buchanan

Ian Buchanan (born June 16 , 1957 in Hamilton , South Lanarkshire , Scotland ) is a Scottish Television Actor , currently starring on " All My Children " as Greg Madden.

His first major work in the United States was playing the character of Duke Lavery on the soap '' General Hospital '' from 1986 to 1989 . After leaving the soap he landed a role on the series '' Twin Peaks '' from 1990 - 1991 , as well as the role of Peter Lawford in a miniseries chronicling Marilyn Monroe 's alleged affair with Robert F. Kennedy . From there, he went back to daytime. He joined the cast of '' The Bold And The Beautiful '' as Dr. James Warwick in 1993 ; he left the show in 1998 . After a small part in the movie '' Panic Room '' ( 2002 ), he returned yet again to soaps, playing Joshua Temple on '' Port Charles '' ( 2002 - 2003 ).

In 2005 , Buchanan joined the cast of '' All My Children '' in the new role of Dr. Gregory Madden.
