Hunters Hill High School is a Government School located in the suburb of Hunters Hill in Sydney , New South Wales , Australia . It is situated on the Lane Cove River near the Figtree Bridge. It was opened in 1955 and it was the first co-educational high school in Sydney . In the year 2000 its hall burnt down, and everyone got upset. Then in 2001 the government said it would close down the school, so they could sell it and make the big bucks. However, at the end of 2002 the government decided to keep it open. At the beginning of 2006 the new school hall was completed (it only took them six years and four million dollars). |
