Humberto Guerra Allison(1940-), is an internationally renowned physician and scientist. He graduated from Cayetano Heredia University (MD) and Baylor University (PhD). With Dr. Hugo Lumbreras, co-founded a Tropical Medicine Institute at Cayetano Heredia University (Lima, Peru). Dr. Guerra later directed the Institute, turning it into a world-class research center.
Dr. Guerra's research focused on the Pathogenesis and Immunology of bacterial diseases.
