Information About

Hudson County Community College

In 1974, an act of the New Jersey Legislature made it possible for a county that lacked a community college to establish a community college commission. The purpose of the commission was to enter into contracts with existing educational institutions, to provide services for its students, and to grant certificates and associate degrees. In the Spring of 1981, the institution's official name became Hudson County Community College.

Hudson County Community College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association Of Colleges And Schools .
