Huang Zu was a general of Wu and serving Lord Liu Biao during the Three Kingdoms period in Ancient China. During the battle of Jiang Province, Liu Biao , another general under Lü Gong , sent Huang Zu after the Sun Family king, Sun Jian . Huang Zu was defeated by Sun Jian , but under a plan made by Lü Gong, was chased through Han River. At the Han River, Sun Jian was crushed by the logs that were planned to fall directly on him and kill him. Lü Gong later escaped and Huang Zu took all blame for Sun Jian 's death. Later, Sun Quan , the ruler of the Sun family of Wu after his brother's, Sun Ce , and Sun Jian 's death, led an attack against Huang Zu as a revenge for his father. Zhou Yu , one of Sun Quan 's generals, helped finally destroy Huang Zu on that battle and took revenge over the death of Sun Jian . |
