PLOT SYNOPSIS Professor Alexander Saxton is an anthropologist returning home to Europe via the trans-Siberian railway bringing with him a frozen 'fossil'. The 'fossil' is the frozen remains of a primitive humanoid creature. Several murders occur on the train, and the victims are found with blank white eyes and their brains drained of memories. QUOTES Peter Cushing: "Are you telling me that an ape that lived two million years ago got out of that crate, killed the baggage man and put him in there then locked everything up neat and tidy and got away?" Christopher Lee: "That's exactly what I'm saying!" TRIVIA
