"Home Ain't Where His Heart is (Anymore)" was the seventh Single from Shania Twain 's 1995 Album '' The Woman In Me ''. The song was written by Twain and Mutt Lange . The song became Twain's first single off ''The Woman in Me'' to not hit the top 20 at country radio. It was originally released to radio in July of 1996. The Music Video was shot by Steven Goldmann in Montreal , Quebec on July 9th , 1996 . It was released July 24th , 1996.
