Holden Frontera




The Holden Frontera was a medium sized SUV sold by General Motors in Australia and New Zealand from 1995 to 2002 . The Holden Frontera was a Rebadged Isuzu vehicle. It originally sold as an ''Isuzu Wizard'' in New Zealand and is sold as an Opel Frontera in Europe.

In 1995 , the ''Frontera Sport 4X4'' was only available in a 2 door, and was only available in Manual Transmission and four cyclinders. This model was a rebadged Isuzu Amigo and Isuzu Mu .

In 1999 , a new model, the ''Frontera UES SE'' was manufactured in the USA, no longer UK and was available in Automatic Transmission and 4 door. The ''Frontera UES S'' was a 4 door with Manual Transmission and ''Frontera UES Sport'' came with 2 door, manual transmission. All models had six cyclinders, except the UES Sport which kept the four cyclinders.

In 2001 a model upgrade to the ''Frontera UES SE'', with improvements on engine noise, it gained electronic throttle, and some interior upgrades.

Holden ceased sales of Frontera in 2002 , leaving the SUV lineup to only the Holden Jackaroo .
