The Heaven Smiles are the weapons of the terrorist organization Heaven's Smile, which is operated by Kun Lan . In some cases, they are actual people touched by his God Hand ; in other cases, they are actually animated corpses or artificial humans with organs coming from various sources, including a black market of children's organs run by Curtis Blackburn and Pedro Montana . These walking bombs were used to disrupt the political dealings of the United States , and because of their invisibility, they were impossible to combat without Harman Smith and the Killer Seven; specifically, it is Garcian Smith 's Vision Ring that allows them to see the Heaven Smiles. After identifying himself as Emir Parkreiner to the computer, the ring is rendered unusable. He is still able to attack their vital points using the Lock-on button in the final mission "Lion." In '' Killer7 '', a level will typically end with a battle against a new type of Heaven Smile. |
