Hay is a town and Local Government Area in western New South Wales , Australia . Hay is located at the junction of the Sturt Highway and Mid-Western Highway . Hay is located on the north bank of the Murrumbidgee River . Hay was settled in the mid 1800s . The main activities are sheep farming and some irrigated agriculture along the rivers. |
