The Irving B. Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies is one of the nation's leading graduate schools devoted to Public Policy research, analysis, and training. Part of The University Of Chicago , the Harris School is located on the University's main campus in Hyde Park . In addition to Policy Analysis , the school requires its students to pursue a thorough training in Economics and Statistics through preliminary examinations and intensive course requirements. Further, the Harris School is known for its curricular interactions with the University-at-large, with students drawing upon the offerings of the Graduate School Of Business , Law School , School Of Social Service Administration , and the Graduate Division of the Social Sciences. CURRICULUM


The Harris School offers three full-time professional masters degree programs: a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.), an S.M. in Environmental Science and Policy, and a one-year A.M. in Public Policy Studies. Further, a Ph.D. degree program is offered to students looking to pursure a career designing and conducting policy-relevant research. Last, accelerated joint degree offerings internal to the University exist to Harris School students, in particular, the M.P.P./J.D., M.P.P./M.B.A., and M.P.P./A.M. programs.
