Harrington Jacket

Based on the American Ivy League look, the jacket first became fashionable in the UK during the 1960s. This style of jacket earned the name Harrington because of its association with the character Rodney Harrington played by Ryan O'Neal on the TV series Peyton Place .

They again became popular in the early 1980s, among fans of Two-tone music. Harringtons are often worn with Fred Perry or Ben Sherman shirts.
