Harold Bennett ( September 17 1899 – September 15 1981 ) was an English Actor most famous for playing young Mr. Grace in the 1970s British Sitcom '' Are You Being Served? ''. Bennett was born in Hastings , East Sussex . He also played the recurring character Mr Blewitt in '' Dad's Army '' from 1969 to 1977 . He died of a heart attack in September 1981 .
