''Halo Zero'' is a free Fan-made 2D Sidescroller set in the ''Halo'' Universe that was created by Dobermann Software. It takes place on the planet Reach and features 2D representations of many of the characters seen in the Xbox version, many of which were taken from another fangame - Halo: Blood Covenant with it's founder's permission. In the game, which was made by French fans, you play the role of Master Chief, the main protagonist in the Halo series. Many of the weapons in the Xbox version are featured. Although the game boasts high-quality art and online play, several flaws arise. Multiplayer is considered by some to be dull. Two players can join the same server, but lag and other connection failures occur, and players with routers cannot host servers even with correct port configuration. Many maps fail with the amount of available weapons. Single player on the other hand, is said to boast great competition against compelling foes and reasonable AI behaviors.
