GEOGRAPHY Gun Club Estates is located at 26°40'31" North, 80°6'32" West (26.675393, -80.108789). According to the United States Census Bureau , the CDP has a total area of 0.3 Km&2 (0.1 Mi&2 ). 0.3 km&2 (0.1 mi&2) of it is land and none of it is covered by water. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 711 people, 250 households, and 182 families residing in the CDP. The Population Density was 2,287.7/km&2 (6,010.7/mi&2). There were 268 housing units at an average density of 862.3/km&2 (2,265.7/mi&2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 87.34% White , 2.25% African American , 0.14% Native American , 0.14% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 3.52% from Other Races , and 6.61% from two or more races. 39.80% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 250 households out of which 34.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.2% were Married Couples living together, 17.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.8% were non-families. 17.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.84 and the average family size was 3.09. In the CDP the population was spread out with 26.2% under the age of 18, 9.3% from 18 to 24, 36.0% from 25 to 44, 21.2% from 45 to 64, and 7.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 108.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 105.9 males. The median income for a household in the CDP was $33,380, and the median income for a family was $28,375. Males had a median income of $19,943 versus $21,372 for females.
