Guilderland High School is a public high school located in Guilderland Center , New York . It is part of the Guilderland Central School District . The school is also known as '''Guilderland Central High School'''. The building was constructed in 1953. Additions were added in 1955, 1959, 1965, and 1997. Originally, Guilderland High School was next to the middle school. Eventually, the middle school moved to what is now Farnsworth Middle School . Guilderland High School then merged the buildings together. Guilderland High School currently runs on Block Scheduling . Guilderland High School provides a comprehensive and challenging program that ensures that students will be successful in advanced educational studies, the work force or other post-graduate plans. High School and college level courses provide students with many opportunities to develop and hone their skills, attitudes, and knowledge.
