The next general election will be held before or in May 2010, however one candidate has already announced his intention to stand, this is Paul Offer , of the Conservative Party , and he became one of two candidates who the Party Board gave instant approval to. The current incumbent, Mrs. Russell is yet to announce her intention to stand.
