Previously, in around the 1950's, Guilden Sutton was part of the Eddisbury constituency. In June 2005, Cllr. Trisha Paterson was elected Chairman of the Council, and Bob Armitage Vice Chairman. Cllr. Armitage is also the Father Of The Council . POLITICS The village, as well as having Parish Councillors is also part of the Christleton ward in City Council elections, part of the Gowy ward for County Council elections and part of the City Of Chester General Election constituency.
