Information About

Gross Dealer Concession

Commissions is a central component of a Broker/Dealer operation. Through Commissions, a Broker/Dealer determines how to allocate the Gross Dealer Concessions (GDC) received from the fund companies. Generally speaking, most of the GDC is paid to the broker or agent who sold the business. However, some money is allocated to various parties within the rep’s agency while some is retained by the house (the Broker Dealer).
