The is the crease at the junction of the Torso with the Leg s and the adjacent region that includes the external Genital s. The term may be used as an Euphemism for Genitals , since the names of the latter are Taboo Word s in some cultures.The term may also be used to describe a coastal engineering structure designed to prevent beach erosion and build the beach outward by slowing longshore sediment transport. This is sometimes confused with a Jetty , which is instead for protecting harbors, channels, or piers (see Groyne ).
