The United Kingdom competed as Great Britain at the ''' 1984 Summer Olympics ''' in Los Angeles, California under the IOC Country Code GBR. It was the twentieth time that the European nation participated, being one of only three nations (along with Greece and Australia ) to have competed in every Summer Olympics to that point. Great Britain and Northern Ireland were represented by a total number of 338 athletes.
