Information About

Granite Hills High School (el Cajon)

The student body of Granite Hills - the largest school in the Grossmont Union High School District - is filled with apathetic potheads and white supremacists, a mass which cares little for its own future, constantly asking the ignorant question "what's better than San Diego?" as it wastes away into the depths of middle-class mediocrity. They ride. They skate.
Sometimes (thank God) they even surf. But one thing they don't do: go to college. Only about a fifth of Granite Hills' graduating seniors go on to attend four-year universities each year, moslty San Diego State University , although several attend nearby community colleges like Grossmont College and Cuyamaca College .

Sports are rarely an area of success for Granite Hills, except in soccer, baseball, softball, and women's basketball.

Granite Hills is also home to the ''Clarion'', East County's most prestigious newspaper.
