Even though the Goth Code is still sometimes used, the original key has been lost. According to Usenet legend, the author of the Goth Code "withdrew the key from the internet" because he was unhappy with the way people used it. Other legends claim there was a group of creators who started bickering amongst each other. Whatever the truth, it seems impossible to find a key online. The Goth Code was created in 1995. It was last updated, and then withdrawn in 1998. The Goth Code was inspired by the Geek Code , as well as two codes used in the Gay subculture, the Twink Code and the Bear Code . EXTERNAL LINKS |
