''Germany's Next Topmodel'' is a German Reality Television show which pits Contestants against each other in a variety of competitions to determine who will win a Modeling Contract with IMG . Supermodel Heidi Klum hosts the show, which is based on the top-rating series '' America's Next Top Model '' created and co-produced by Supermodel Tyra Banks . The debut season of the show premiered on the herself, hair and make-up artist Armin Morbach, Choreographer Bruce Darnell and model agent Peyman Amin. Guest judges included model Marcus Schenkenberg , designer Jette Joop, actor Erol Sander and body painter Joanne Gair. The show is considered ironic because Klum also hosts the American show Project Runway , which is known as the rival to America's Next Top Model. The winning girl Lena G. will get the contract with IMG and will be on the Cover of the german Cosmopolitan . The other two finals also got a contract with IMG.
