The home was in the Strout family until the 1970s and has had a variety of owners since. It was the site of a Bed And Breakfast for a time, but is currently a private residence. The house received a Preservation Award by the Western Sonoma County Historical Society in 1977 . In a non-historical note, the Strout House, like many of the houses on Florence Avenue, sports a fantastical Patrick Amiot sculpture in the front yard. SOURCE McClure, Evelyn S.
