Gamma Cancri (γ Cnc / γ Cancri) is a Star in the Constellation Cancer . It also has the traditional name '''Asellus Borealis''' ( Latin for "northern donkey"). Gamma Cancri belongs to the Spectral Class A0 and has Apparent Magnitude +4.7. Its is approximately 160 Light Year s from Earth . Since it is near the Ecliptic , it can be Occulted by the Moon and very rarely by Planet s. Coordinates (equinox 2000)
