The Tour 2006 tour consists of 18 tournaments with purses ranging from , Asia , South Africa and Australia . The leading five money winners of the season earn a tour card for the following season's LPGA Tour, and other successful competitors receive direct entry to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, bypassing the sectional qualifiers. Futures Tour graduates include '', aired, and this time, six of the show's contestants, Dana Lacey , Ashley Prange , Kim Lewellen , Kristina Tucker , Becky Lucidi and Jeanne Cho , were FUTURES Tour competitors. During the show's run, on March 19 , Prange picked up her first-ever win on the tour in the Greater Tampa Duramed FUTURES Classic , while Lewellen's lone win on the tour came in 1997 . In 2006 , the FUTURES Tour will hold its first major tournament. The Michelob ULTRA FUTURES Players Championship in Decatur, Illinois , which has been on the Tour's schedule since 1985 , will become the Tour's only 72-hole event, and will carry the Tour's largest purse ever — $100,000. {Link without Title} SEE ALSO EXTERNAL LINK |
