) with M.A. Rosko . BECOMING THE FOX9 MORNING NEWS In 2002, KMSP switched from UPN to FOX , at which time they became " The FOX9 Morning News ". They did stop doing the traffic from SKYFOX 9 and did the traffic on the ground like everyone else. That's because M.A. Rosko went to be a creative reporter in the morning insted of traffic. FOX9 also added an extra half hour to the Morning Show in 2003. The show would now run 5-9am. During 5-7 compete against the other stations and 7-9 to compete aginst the national shows and also get a little guffy. SAYING GOOD BYE TO A LEGEND On August 14th 2005 Long time FOX9 Morning News anchor Tim Sherno left the show after 7 years at the desk with Alix. It was a sad and emotional good bye. Nearly everybody behind the scences and on air were crying. Tim still lives in the Twin Cities but dosn't work anywere. Finding Tim's Replacement Finding Tim's replacement was no easy task. From August - October UPN29 reporters Bill Keller and Tom Halden would take turns anchoring the show. Tim's Replacement: Tom It wasn't until the end of October 2005 they found a replacment. His name was Tom Butler he came from ABC24 in Memphis were he was a weekend anchor. Tom Halden later become the General Assignment Reporter for FOX9 Morning News . Tom and Alix still anchor the show today. They also do it with Meteorologist Keith Marler and traffic with Juli Jay . CURRENT PERSONALITIES
