Information About

Force-get

force-get is a Package Management System for GNU/Linux which aims to allow for the co-existence of Binary and Source packages on the same Computer system. The current version is written in Bash , a UNIX Shell Language . force-get is implemented as the default package manager for Jedi Linux and works on many other Distributions Of GNU/Linux .

Though there are relatively few packages in the force-tree at the moment, the packages made available by the Development team attempts to satisfy the general needs of the population of GNU/Linux users. Also, force-get configuration files have a simple format, making it relatively easy for users to add new packages to the force-tree. force-get is considered Beta Software but is in active development.
