There are three separate levels of awards, with different but equivalent levels for contributions made 'on the pitch' and those made 'off the pitch'
HALL OF CHAMPIONS / HALL OF HONOUR This is the highest award available for a contribution to the development of the game in Australia, and is given for eminent service or contributions to football in Australia, whether at state/territory level, nationally or internationally. Hall of Champions Hall of Honour MEDAL OF EXCELLENCE / ROLL OF HONOUR This is awarded for distinguished service or contributions to football in Australia, whether at state/territory level, nationally or internationally. Medal of Excellence Roll of Honour (distinguished) AWARD OF DISTINCTION / ROLL OF HONOUR This is awarded for outstanding service or contributions to football in Australia, whether at state/territory level, nationally or internationally.
