Florin Popescu (born August 30 , 1974 ) is a Romania n Flatwater Canoer . He won two Olympic medals in the C-2 event at the 2000 Summer Olympics with his teammate Mitica Pricop . He has also won a total of six world championship gold medals making him the most successful male Romanian paddler of modern times. His most recent success was as a member of the victorious Romania C4 500m team at the 2005 World Championships in Zagreb , Croatia. |
