DESCRIPTION Floral Park Memorial High School (FPMHS) is located on 210 Locust Street, in Floral Park, New York. It is a part of the Sewanhaka Central High School District. The high school welcomes young adults in grades 7 through 12, because of the lack of a middle school. The Floral Park Campus is located on Plainfield Avenue near Elmont. It is part of the 5 School Sewanhaka District which also includes New Hyde Park Memorial High School, Frank. H Carey High School, Sewanhaka High School, and Elmont Memorial High School. The Student body in Floral Park Memorial is mostly white. Floral Park Memorial High School is a school with great standards and even better academics. As a national Blue Ribbon school of excelence it is one of the better public high schools in the New York region. ATHLETICS Floral Park Memorial High School enjoys an extremely competitive and active athletic student body. The school currently has Junior Varsity and Varsity Boy's and Girl's Basketball, Boy's Baseball, Boy's and Girl's Track, Girl's Softball, Boy's and Girl's Volleyball, Boy's and Girl's Soccer, Boy's Football, and Boy's Riflery. |
