Fine Arts Library, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana




IU-Bloomington's first Fine Arts Library was established in the late 1930s as part of the Departmental office on the second floor, east wing of the University Library which was then located in Franklin Hall. The Library has gone through many changes and now the Fine Arts Library now is comprised of over 100,000 volumes and 390 periodicals, including collections of circulating slides and plates and a non-circulating collection of over 500 artists' books.
